We began building 12 volt lights to provide high quality lighting for our alternative energy homes. We wanted lights that were highly efficient, attractive, very durable, and produced pleasant light similar to incandescent bulbs. For several years we tried just about everything available, but found none that were satisfactory.

In 1982, we began building our own, using the latest and best components available. These lights are now the primary light source for many alternative energy homes in this area and the owners won’t consider using anything else.

We have been using them on our sailboat and have had many requests to make them commercially available. The Alpenglow company was formed for that purpose, and we have been offering Alpenglow lights to the marine community since 1988.

GUARANTEE

You must be satisfied with Alpenglow lights. We encourage you to try one out, test it, and compare it to any other light available. If you aren’t completely satisfied, you may return it within 30 days for a full refund on the purchase price.

Alpenglow lights are fully guaranteed against defects (even bulb burnout) for two years. If any problem should occur within that time, we will correct it or replace the light. If a problem should develop after two years (uncommon), we will do everything we can to correct it as quickly and inexpensively as possible.
